Nancy:
I hadn’t been to a 99 cent store for several years, although they are near my shopping neighborhood. I went in this morning looking for some spray paint and discovered that they spoke little English. The checker was almost rude. I liked the products but left amazed at the effect the employees left on me. I felt that they were probably illegal aliens. Why else would they be hired if they couldn’t speak English? I talked to several of them. My paint inquiry sent me over to hair spray.
