Job Duties
The area of concessions encompasses all of the unique vendors that sell products to passengers in airports. These vendors may include restaurants, newsstands, book stores, gift shops, cafes, and any other booth or cart that may sell goods in an airport. Working in airport concessions is very similar to working retail or food service in another more traditional environment. Although these vendors are located in airports, they are managed by outside contractors. These contractors do the hiring and must be contacted by applicants looking to start in the airport concessions field. Job Qualifications
A job working in concessions is an entry level position and one of the easiest ways to start out working in an airport.
