Arby’s was founded in Ohio in 1964 by Forrest and Leroy Raffel. The brothers wanted to create a restaurant based on something other than a hamburger. The name “Arby’s” is based on the initials of the Raffel Brothers – “R.B.” However, R.B. can also mean “roast beef”, which is of course the flagship product. Arby’s restaurants are located in 48 states and five countries including the US, Canada, United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Turkey. June 9th, 2010 at 1:35 pmI have worked at Arby’s for 2 years. We hire at 15. I disagree with hiring that young. Kids 15 or 16 do not understand what real work is. They have nothing to really work for. Its an okay job. Wouldnt recommend it.
