Arby’s Application Video – How to Apply for a Job at Arby’s:

History
Brothers Forrest and Leroy Raffel opened the first Arby’s roast beef restaurant in Boardman, OH, in 1964. The name stands for the initials R.B., which represent Raffel Brothers. The brothers franchised their new fast food concept in 1965 and the first licensed Arby’s location opened in Akron, OH. Arby’s began out of state expansion in 1968 and opened restaurants in Pittsburgh, PA, and Detroit, MI. By 1981, Arby’s operated over 1,000 fast food restaurant locations. Arby’s joined forces with another Ohio fast food favorite, Wendy’s, in 2008. Wendy’s / Arby’s Group operates as the parent company for both quick service restaurant chains.

Menu
The Arby’s menu offers a wealth of roast beef and chicken sandwiches, salads, and wraps. The company also offers signature sauces, Arby’s Sauce and Horsey Sauce, as well as a variety of milkshakes, desserts, and soft drinks. In 2006, Arby’s became the first national fast food chain to halt the use of artificial additives in chicken products and the first large quick service restaurant to eliminate all trans-fats from its menu. The majority of Arby’s restaurants offer Pepsi beverages, as Arby’s signed an exclusive soft drink provider contract with Pepsi in 2006.

Community Involvement
As a major international quick service restaurant chain, Arby’s gives back to the communities supporting its business. Arby’s created Arby’s Foundation Inc., a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, in 1986. Arby’s Foundation creates or assists several worthwhile charities, including the Arby’s Charity Tour, a golf for charity tournament, the National Community Fundraiser program, a youth-mentoring charitable organization, and several local community charities across the U.S. Arby’s provides charitable giving opportunities and accepts grant applications online.

Arby’s LEED stores utilize environmentally safe or beneficent practices in kitchens, building practices, and waste disposal. All company-owned Arby’s locations recycle cardboard and cooking oil, as well. Arby’s utilizes the best current viable technology to ensure its business leaves a small environmental footprint.

Ashley Arbys is a great place to work. They will work with you on your schedule. My daughter has worked for them for 4 months now and yes it is hard work but she maintains her grades and plus she’s a football manager.Yes she got hired when she was 16.If you are under the age 18 you have to have a work permit.
Sam, I disagree with you young people like 15 and 16 work harder than some older people. They need to start young so that they can get a taste of the real value of a dollar before they get older and plus it gives some stress off their parents. My daughter pays for her own cell phone bill every month plus shes saving to help pay for some of her senior cost.

I’m fifteen too, and I’m about to apply at Arby’s my close friend Chris has worked there for a year, and he started working there at sixteen, but he said the working age is15 since I’m in ny. But, I’m curious, what exactly would you do while working at Arby’s? I’m applying for crew member, I think your supposed to take peoples orders and clean up a bit, but are you supposed to prepare the food too? Will they train you? and Are they flexible with working hours? Cause, I of course have school. Sorry, to ask so much. But, please help ;D. Much appreciated.

I have worked at Arby’s for 2 years. We hire at 15. I disagree with hiring that young. Kids 15 or 16 do not understand what real work is. They have nothing to really work for. Its an okay job. Wouldnt recommend it.

just a question or two; do you need to turn in a resume along with the application? and do the employers care if it’s not an official application, like do they care that you print it out at home?

how old do you have to be to work at arbys?

  20. Megan:

Katie, a resume is not needed with your application. And whether you print out the application at home or get it directly from the restaurant does not matter.
Jakeyrria, you can be as young as 15 and work at Arby’s as long as you have a work permit.
