Beyond that, you’ll be working with tools, fixing and upgrading broken machines, and performing general maintenance to keep valuable equipment from breaking.
There are a ton of jobs available working to repair the enormous amount of mechanical devices used by the Marines Corps. Once trained, you can begin working as a refrigeration mechanic, metal worker, combat engineer, and more. Of course, that’s not all. Plus, working in a shop gives you excellent work history and experience for any future job search in a mechanical field when your service is finished.
