Founded in 1992, Caribou Coffee is a chain of coffee shops with locations all over the country. Presently, there are 415 company-owned stores and 80 franchise locations in the Caribou Coffee empire. An investment firm called Arcapita that used to own Church’s Chicken has a majority share in Caribou Coffee. The firm also owns moving company PODS and a number of tech companies.
