Job Duties
What Are the Responsibilities of a Casino Server?
Casino servers primarily take and fill beverage orders. Depending on the casino, some servers may serve food, as well. Casino waiters and waitresses should possess a strong knowledge of liquor and beer brands the casino carries. Additional responsibilities include checking on guests, refilling drinks, clearing tables, calculating and issuing bills, and handling money. Servers must follow all company health and safety guidelines. Most casinos offer paid training to acquaint new-hire servers with company polices and job responsibilities. Server training takes place during employee orientation.
