In my times shopping and filling prescriptions at CVS, I have discovered the friendly
way I have been treated. This seems to be a place that would be productive to work in.
The work place is clean and the workers are respectful. I have worked for 12 yrs. with the public
as a customer service supervisor. This would be a good place to work.

Just so you all know…there is no such thing as a beauty consultant or photo tech. I have worked at cvs for 2 years. I was originally hired as a photo tech. Only to find out that not only did I develop the film and perform other photo tasks, but I also had to run register by myself. There is nobody to help you. You must do the film in an hour, run the register for all customers (not just photo customers), help people find items, check prices, do the jobs the manager gives you (such as condensing merchandise), stock cigarettes, help people on the SELF SERVICE KIOSK, because they are too stupid to do it by themselves for some reason, gather shopping carts from the parking lot, take customer complaints, write rainchecks, and many many other tasks. ALL BY YOURSELF. Then you see the stupid pharmacy techs sitting int he back doing nothing and laughing as they are leaned against the counter waiting on something to happen. There are also six of them, all doing nothing at the same time. Why can’t I have someone to work with? Someone to back me up when the line reaches 15 people and there are 6 rolls of film due in 20 minutes. CVS is the worst company to work for. There is 0 advancement. If you are a pharmacy tech, be prepared to stay a tech until you quit. No way in hell they will put you through school. Oh I also have to stock the shelves, and take the trash out…even pharmacy trash. They are obviously to busy to do it, pisses me off. Raises happen once a year and are fixed at 2%. So don’t bother asking for a raise. CVS sucks, please don’t apply here and make your life miserable.

    To whom it may concern:
I filled out CVS Employment application about four months ago. They had sent a representative
to unemployment, to tell us about the jobs available. I handed in a resume and they called me.
I was so excited. They wanted me to come in on Saturday, they called on Thursday. My sister
was getting married on Saturday. I asked if I could reschedule. I really wanted the job, but couldn’t leave my sister without a maid of honour. I am just sick that I missed an opportunity
like that. They said they would contact me again. I didn’t hear from them. They said they keep applications on file for 6 months. Please see what you can do for me.
