Hiring process information for an interview at CVS
Always hiring new and motivated retail associates, CVS regularly needs workers to staff store locations throughout the United States. To begin a career with CVS, applicants should submit a request for employment either online or at the desired retail location. After submission of contact information, personal references, and work history, a CVS manager contacts a potential associate to schedule an interview. Callbacks may take anywhere from a couple days to two weeks.
Potential employees attending a CVS job interview should dress professionally. Positive attitudes, energetic personalities, and a genuine interest in the potential job opportunity greatly benefit workers during the hiring process. As a retail company, CVS looks to hire workers with sound customer service skills. Interview subjects should arrive on time, prepared, and ready to answer questions about work history and job skills. Discuss any attributes that may set you apart from other job candidates. For example, if you achieved good grades in school, mention your strong educational performance and, accordingly, your ability to follow directions and exceed benchmarks. In addition to in-person interviews, CVS also regularly conducts phone interviews with interested applicants. Make sure to brush up on phone interview skills and find a quiet place to carry out your phone interview with CVS.

April 20th, 2010 at 1:35 pmI think you can work there while still in high school, you just need to be 16 or older.
May 2nd, 2010 at 12:05 pmHaving your HS degree completed would definitely be a plus. But plenty of baby-boomer type aged people work there. I’m sure lots of their stores are looking for new blood.
