I think it would be so cool to work at Denny’s as a waitress. I am going to fill out an online application form but before I do can anyone tell me if they offer their employees any vision insurance?
June 30th, 2011 at 3:29 pmI think it would be a great experience to work at Dennys .
November 19th, 2011 at 6:57 pmI work at Dennys as a server. I’m a guy, definitely the minority. The Dennys I work at (in Bangor, ME) does fantastic business. weekends between 8 and 2 there is a line out the door with a 20 minute wait. People are usually pleasant and the elderly regulars are great to chat with and pass time when its not busy. On the business side of things, its great. Table times are fast, as most people are there for breakfast, and with good cooks working its nothing to have someone in and out in less than 30 minutes, opening up the table for another party (more tips per hour than say a Texas roadhouse, where the bill may be higher, but you are looking at hour plus table times). A good weekend morning shift can easily net 200 in tips alone, while the average swing shit is good for 80-120. A nightshift can also net 200, but you have to deal with the drunks. Its a pretty decent work environment, I actually usually have a lot of fun.
