Job Interview Question & Answer: Can You Describe a Time When Your Work Was Criticized and How Did You Handle It?

How to Answer the Question:

Only talk about times you handled criticism positively and managed to improve your work to create an even better product. In this job interview question, discuss a suggestion your employer made which you implemented to the benefit of the company. Talk about customer criticism you assuaged using your sales skills. Keep you answer concise and utilize true occurrences as examples.

Don’t discuss times you handled criticism poorly at any point in the hiring process. Never talk about instances occurring outside the workplace. Keep your responses as closely related to the work environment as possible. Discuss criticism as a tool used to gain even better results and not as a hindrance keeping you from working to your greatest potential.

When I was the one that made a higher grade than any other child in the class, I actually handled it pretty well because I didnt let it get to me because I know I worked hard for it and my mama would have been proud

Yes, my work was criticized often, beside having lots of work to be accomplish at all time. That was to be expected. I considers no job too difficult. Concerned, caring leader, allows subordinates to grow in new directions.

I did not promoted to be assistant head teller, header teller and customer representative. I felt so shame and sick. But I held my head high. Because I knew my investment in my bank stock grew
    faster than I expected.

If you didn’t have any conflicts, then you should make one up. And you shouldn’t say that you never had one, because nobody’s perfect.
