Job Interview Question & Answer: How Will You Make Your Decision If You Get More Than One Job Offer?

How to Answer the Question:

If during a job interview a potential employer asks what you will decide if given two job offers simultaneously, you want to make sure that you don’t mislead them. Giving a false impression will not only make you look bad, but is immediate grounds for termination from most places. The worst thing you could do would be to lead both companies on in thinking that they are your ideal choice.

Instead, stick to what you know. You’ve probably already given them a list of criteria for your ideal job at some point during the hiring process. Use this as your guiding rule. Make sure your answer is, as always, professional and express to them that whichever position best fits your career aspirations is the one that will serve as your first choice. The interview process is, after all, all about you and your fit with a potential employer.

I’ll choose which ever is best for me. Which ever one I believe is more convenient and fits into my caree goals and life plans. If one job hits more marks than the other then I will go with the majority. If they are the same then I will go with which ever one offered first.
