Job Interview Question & Answer: Talk About A Time You Made A Suggestion To Improve Business |

How to Answer the Question:
Talk about a time when you gave a suggestion a boss took and used to benefit the company. Focus on how much your idea benefited the company. If this never happened to you in a workplace, answer honestly and discuss the efficiency of the business you worked in. Even minor improvement shows your merit as a problem solver during a job interview.
Do not suggest times you made a suggestion that was ignored only to be implemented later. This shows the interviewer you can’t forget the times you are slighted. Don’t discuss suggestions lacking marked and quantifiable improvements to the company. Keep you answer short and make sure the positives of your example are clearly visible to all listeners.

I do not like when they ask me this question. If I have never made a suggestion what should I say? I mean should I just come up with something I don’t want to say no and them not like me because of it.
