Job Interview Question & Answer: What Do You See Yourself Doing in the First 30 Days?

How to Answer the Question:

Talk about how you will be acclimating yourself, finishing training, fitting into the team well, and being the best asset you can be to the company. By the end of 30 days, you should be done with training and working without supervision. Emphasize your ability to learn and adapt as well as your desire to get right into your job duties. Ease the interviewer’s fears at this point in the hiring process.

Never reveal unnecessary information during the job interview process. If you know you have vacation planned 30 days after you may start, don’t tell your employer until you have the job. Don’t talk about having control or moving into supervisory roles after only 30 days of employment. Interviewers like ambition, but they don’t enjoy smug attitudes.

My response to this question would be learning as much as I can, working hard and really getting along with everyone within the company. Is this a good response or a not so good one?

Either I am going to be very nervous or I am going to be very happy to start work at your bank. I prefer happy. I will imagine I am very happy and eagle to learn everything from everyone.
