Job Interview Question & Answer: What Have You Done in the Past Year? |

How to Answer the Question:
This is where you talk about educational opportunities you have participated in over the last year. Even if you only learned something about yourself and the business by handling a difficult situation well, this is a perfectly valid response. The employer wants to know you understand education is an ongoing and lifelong process.
Don’t discuss books you read or hobbies you have which are unrelated to the business you are interviewing for. The interviewer does not care if you enjoy grooming dogs or sailing unless your job interview is related to those endeavors. Take this chance to assure the interviewer you constantly strive to improve yourself and the company you work for.
