Job Interview Question & Answer: When Have You Felt Most Satisfied in a Job?

How to Answer the Question:

Pick a professional goal you achieved in a work setting and describe what steps you took to accomplish it. Discuss your ability to overcome adversity and succeed in the face of hardship. Talk about a particularly great customer service you delivered, or a problem you helped a co-worker defeat. Always keep your response to this question to the point and positive as you should be throughout the hiring process.

Avoid short answers lacking emotion during this job interview question. This is your chance to show the interviewer you can earn satisfaction from your career while displaying strong qualities, like interpersonal skills, customer service, dedication, reliability, and more. Discuss a time in your career that makes you smile whenever you think of it.

I would say I have felt most satisifed at a job when I got promoted to a manager. When I got promoted as a manager I felt needed and important. It was one of the best feelings in the world.
