The KFC Corporation is based in Louisville, Kentucky. It was founded as Kentucky Fried Chicken by Colonel Harland Sanders in 1952. KFC claims to be the world’s most popular chicken restaurant chain serving about 8 million people a day. This number is based upon the presence of over 11,000 restaurants acroos the world.
