A chain of pizza delivery shops, Papa Gino’s serves customers throughout New England. In 1961, the restaurant chain was founded as Piece O’ Pizza in Boston, Massachusetts. Shortly after the founders changed the name to Papa Gino’s, the chain began expanding. Today, Papa Gino’s is established in five states: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island. There are now over 200 restaurant locations in the Papa Gino’s chain.
Papa Gino’s locations still have the traditional red and white checkered tablecloths and Italian décor. The cooks even make the pizza in front of customers to this day. Besides pizza, the menu at Papa Gino’s Pizzeria also offers subs, salad, pasta, and a variety of appetizers, such as breadsticks and chicken tenders. Since 1997, Papa Gino’s has also owned a chain of sandwich shops called D’Angelo Grilled Sandwiches.
How would you like to find work in a local pizza shop? If you live in the New England region of the United States, employment opportunities are available through Papa Gino’s. The chain is hiring all the time, and many pizza jobs are entry-level. As long as you’re at least 16 years old, you’re qualified to submit the Papa Gino’s job application form.
Papa Gino’s is in the market to hire entry level workers in two main capacities. Delivery drivers need only to be 18 years old and have a reliable, insured vehicle for employment consideration. For more experienced job seekers, managerial positions are available across the region. Openings exist for shift leads and managers in certain areas.
At Papa Gino’s, all employees are eligible for benefits packages in addition to competitive pay rates. Hourly workers receive healthcare coverage, a 401(k) plan, paid vacations, and meal discounts. On top of those great employment perks, managers can also take advantage of disability coverage, bonus opportunities, personal days, and free pizza.
