The Sam’s Club Application isn’t just for members. Anyone can apply online for Sam’s Club jobs.
In 1983, Sam’s Club was started as an offshoot of the Wal-Mart retail empire. The first Sam’s Club, a warehouse shopping club for members only, opened in Oklahoma. Sam’s Club’s mission was to provide members with the opportunity to obtain a membership card and be able to get discounts on everything from food and groceries to health and beauty products, clothing, and electronics.
The retailers Walmart and Sam’s Club were both founded by Sam Walton. Today, there are 607 Sam’s Club locations across the country. The biggest competitor for Sam’s Club is Costco, a similar warehouse membership club that provides bulk items for fair prices.
Sam’s Club memberships cost about $35 for businesses and $40 for families. Memberships are good for one year at a time. If an individual wants to try out a Sam’s Club, they can get a free one-day pass, but if they want to purchase items, a fee will be applied. Many people with large families shop at Sam’s Club to save money by buying groceries and other products in bulk.
Over the last few decades, Sam’s Club has developed into a powerhouse in the bulk retail industry. That’s no surprise, though, considering its parent company Walmart now reigns as the world’s largest retailer. With over 600 locations and more opening every day, Sam’s Club is constantly in need of new, motivated workers to staff their stores. Most positions with the company are entry level. In fact, Sam’s Club will hire practically anyone 18 years of age or older.
It takes many employees to run a business the size of Sam’s Club. Store associates are being hired all the time. There are countless openings for this entry-level position at Sam’s Clubs around the country. Sam’s Club stores need cashiers and sales associates often. Read the Sam’s Club cashier job description now. Sam’s Club must also regularly hire stock clerks to unload product deliveries and organize merchandise on the sales floor. Consult the Sam’s Club stocker job description. Management opportunities are also available. Training programs make sure that new employees will be ready to oversee operations at a given store.
Eligible Sam’s Club workers even receive benefits packages beyond just competitive pay through parent company, Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. Job perks are similar to those offered to Walmart associates – healthcare coverage, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and a store discount. At Sam’s Club, profit sharing could even be in your future.
Would you like to start off your career with one of the largest companies in the world? Job benefits and advancement opportunities are waiting for you with this industry giant. With just a minute of your time, you can apply online immediately to find jobs at Sam’s Club locations hiring right now.
