If I have been an assistant manager before, what are the chances that Steve Madden would hire me as an assistant manager from the start? I’d like to be able to move up as far as I can, but I guess I could start from the bottom if necessary.

May 18th, 2011 at 3:14 pmI actually have been a store manager for the company for the past 2 yrs. So i can answer all of your questions. You can start as an asst manager if theres a position available and you have the required qualifications and experience. You are able to take vacations but it really depends on the position your in and during what time of year you need to take it. As a steve madden employee you are required to wear the product so you receive a free shoe every season as well as 50% off merchandise to be worn to work. Dress code is kind of flexible but extreme hair colors like green purple pinkk etc may be a bit much.
