TCBY, or The Country’s Best Yogurt, was founded in 1981 as a healthier alternative to ice cream. The company is the largest retailer of soft-serve frozen yogurt in the United States. That doesn’t mean they’re only local, however. TCBY has stores throughout the Americas as well as in the Middle East and in Eastern Asia. The chain offers a variety of different flavors of both hard-packed and soft-serve yogurt at each location. Additionally, they have sugar-free varieties and plenty of toppings.
Headquartered in Cottonwood, Utah, TCBY has over 800 locations operating in the United States. Although it was originally sold to Mrs. Fields in 2000, the company is currently owned by MTY Food Group Inc. The corporation owns and operates or franchises a number of brands including Tandori and Yogen Früz. MTY Food Group is traded on several stock exchanges under the ticker title MTY and employs an army of workers around the world to keep up with more than 1,500 locations.
With so many locations around the world, it’s no wonder TCBY is hiring all the time. If you love ice cream and have a passion for healthier foods, this could be the employment opportunity for you. So many different positions are available. Read on to find out what could be waiting for you.
Although there may be other availabilities at select locations, the company is always hiring people at entry-level. As a team member at TCBY, it will be your job to make all of the delicious treats they offer. Some days, you may also work as a cashier as well as clean and stock the store. The best part is you only need to be 16 or older to apply. Plus, all associates will receive competitive pay and potential training options for entry into management.
Of course, that’s not all that’s available at TCBY. Since the name is franchised, it means you can aspire to owning your very own frozen yogurt location. There may also be positions available at their corporate office working on marketing or even creating new flavors. You never know what’s out there! Positions such as these also come with benefits like a 401(k), paid time off, and even healthcare.
Whether you’re just getting your career off the ground or looking for a job to build your professional resume, there are options at TCBY. If you want to serve yogurt, cakes, and parfaits the TCBY way, what are you waiting for? Go apply online today.
