When I worked for TCP we didn’t get a provided uniform either. I had to go buy new clothes just to get the job there. We were told we had to wear black slacks and a black shirt but could wear a solid color top under it. We also had to wear close toed shoes. I HATE slacks and had no “appropriate” black tops, as the manager called it. She also told us our shoes had to be black with no exceptions.

I work at the children’s place and I have to have a surgery. I’m a single mom of a three year oldlittle girl and its my only source of income. I am Wondering who I contact to see if I quilify for this paid off program we have in our company? It would help to find out quickly. My surgery is schedualed for may 8 th. I work at store 933. I will ask my boss again she said there is a medical form I have to fill out but i have to find it myself she’s not allowed to give me one or something like that. It has been a month waiting on test and doctors to get ready but my boss never told me our company had any help for me I had to ask. Kinda makes me sad since I do complete open availability 7 days a week 24 hours a day a. I pay a daycare Ans a sitter just to have my job so I can get the hours to keep going. So question again who do I cantact for medical leave so I can apply for financial assistance while recovering. Even if I can get a paper to take to social security for temporary disability would help me.
Hey Holly, I just had an interview at the Children’s Place in Saginaw, MI and the uniform here is just wearing black sweaters with solid color cami’s or shirt under them. You can also wear black shirt with colars on them such as polos. Jeans, light and dark, are allowed but then so are slacks. The shoes ,however,need to be closed toed in the front and need to be dark colors, such as black, dark brown etc.
I’ve been looking for a good job with a 401(k) plan I hope I get the job here soon. What are the uniforms like here? I applied online, I haven’t been to The Children’s Place yet.

What should I be prepaired for? I would really really like to work here. So please any advice would help. =D
