I know Burlington Coat Factory. Everyone is great. I get a lot of hours each week. The pay isn’t great, but what can you do. I was told that if I do well during this seasonal work they might keep me on for regular employment. This is a good job if you’re into retail and sales environment kinda jobs. The most exciting thing about this job is that you get to really talk to people on all levels, which can be helpful in life and funny and make you a more caring person as well.

This was my first job. I learned how to use the cash register and customer service, also how to deal with different types of people and what to do in difficult situations.

As soon as I get to work I receive a happy greeting form my co-workers. I walk to the men’s department to find out what needs to be done. I find my manager and find out if they need me to do something asap. It’s a very good workplace and we have good teamwork. We really have a great team. We sit down, make a plan & get everything done.

I review a lot of video surveillance of activity in the store. I do store audits with EAS sensing, re-ticketing and sizing merchandise. I’ve learned a lot in time I have been there about loss. I became a trainer for all the maintenance personnel. I got to work with very experienced technicians. My supervisors always liked my performance. I was employee of the month for two years straight.

Overall, it’s a great place to work and shop at the same time. Perfect for single moms. No later hours.

As a team player, I was a cashier. I put back stock that was not bought. I helped other co-workers with their work if I was done with my work. I loved working for Burlington because I was able to meet new people and I love helping when help is needed. I had good customer service when it came to handling an issue with a customer. I made sure my area stayed clean and the store stayed clean.
