Cintas Laundry Attendant: My job title was Laundry Attendant. Primary duties was cleaning laundry, bagging them and separating them for getting distributed.
Interviewer: What was the work environment like?
Cintas Laundry Attendant: Some days laid back, some days busier than other, but pretty good people I work with.
Interviewer: Please describe a typical day as an employee.
Cintas Laundry Attendant: You had to start it early. It was a 6 am to 2 pm shift, get there at 6. Do a washing, then after you do that you press them. Certain people did certain things, we like alternated groups. One day you might wash all day, one day you might dry all day, or get clothes ready for distribution, and that was it.
Interviewer: How would you describe the application and interview process?
Cintas Laundry Attendant: I filled out online and I knew somebody who was working there at the time, had referred me there, and once I got hired, interview, I got called for an interview maybe within a week I got a call back and I was hired.
Interviewer: What questions did the interviewer ask during the job interview?
Cintas Laundry Attendant: Have I ever done it before, and did I have transportation, and was I available weekends and holidays.
Interviewer: How were you notified that you received the job?
Cintas Laundry Attendant: They notified me by phone. It only took a week by the time I got a call back to let me know I was hired. When I got a call back I was hired.
Interviewer: What other advice would you give to a job seeker looking to gain employment?
Cintas Laundry Attendant: I would say especially if somebody’s in the company and tell you they hiring to jump on it, because that’s how it went for me and it was no problem. I was hired within a week. It’s a okay job.
