    I am not very pleased about filling out an application online because there are some stores that dont check the online account to even consider hiring you I want a printable app – that way I can talk to the manager myself. Think of that before you start writing stuff on here.

    I gotta say, I’ve been working at the DG Distribution in Zanesville, Ohio for 2 years now as a casepack order filler and i think it’s probably the best job i’ve ever had. All the employee’s and supervisors are awesome and it’s probably one of the best paying jobs u can find in this town.

    I have worked for Dollar General in the past and it was exciting! I learned how to set up planograms, opened and closed the store, handled deposits, ran the cash register, stocked the store, and recovered the store. I really enjoyed my job.

Those duties included opening and closing the store as well as making truck orders, inventory, and cashier. I enjoyed my job! I’d love the opportunity to work for this company again.

    I worked for dollar general before I was an assistant store manager. I opened and closed the store making the deposit at night. I checked in the DG delivery stocking and recovering the store. I ran a register and checked in vendors. I would be pleased to work for Dollar General again.

    I worked as a 3rd lead key associate for dollar general. We we’re the training store of our district! Lake City, FL Columbia County! I was employed for 2 years until I moved out of state! All the new stores built in our district I set up the store! 1st hardware truck and building of shelves. Build peg boards read plannograms and 2nd was home and decor trucks then chemical and hardware and food … Placement of pricing and labels for products set up register and link up office system!! Train new manager and staff!! Then go back to my store!!

    I have worked for dollar general a long time ago and was an assistant manager,and I left to the manager I had he wanted to demote me because I had surgery and couldn’t unload the truck on that day.and he was trying to blame me for the night deposit not being deposited. Come to find out it was him.

    I like working in DG. I like how process works. There are so many tasks to be done, and at the same time sometimes. The job might seem the same every day. But it is not. There are so many challenges to be solved and so many details to pay attention to. The best part is interacting with customers. I like very much working with people, helping them and make sure they have the best shopping experience every time they coming to the store.

Was in this district for over 3 yrs. Then I got the great opportunity to move New Mexico.was there for almost 3 yrs. I love this company and I so want to come back to work anywhere.
