Golden Corral Employee: I was a server at Golden Corral a few years ago. I would wait tables, get everybody drinks, serve rolls, ask them how their day was, and just be ultra-friendly, so I get a good tip.
Interviewer: What was the work environment like?
Golden Corral Employee: Clean, pretty friendly, upbeat, not too much drama there. A lot of young women worked there, but it was nice.

Golden Corral Employee: Everything. I liked the food, we got half off, and making a lot of tip money. They said we didn’t have to claim all of our tips if we didn’t want to. We got our paycheck every two weeks, making half of minimum wage, which was like $3.20 or so. It came in handy at the time.

Golden Corral Employee: Fast paced, on your feet, juggling tables a lot, just trying to communicate with everybody the whole shift.
Interviewer: How would you describe the application and interview process?
Golden Corral Employee: Pretty easy. There was a gentleman there who took me back, gave me a quick interview, and told me to come back for the video part. It was nice. He was a manager and knew what he was doing. He just kind of put me under his wing and let me go forth from there, and I worked there about a year.
Interviewer: What should an applicant wear to the job interview?
Golden Corral Employee: Probably not this. Try to dress up a little bit - maybe some black slacks, button-up shirt, and try to look clean.

Golden Corral Employee: Just how friendly or motivated are you, basically.

Golden Corral Employee: Just go in, walk in, and put forth your best effort to get in there.
