Brooke Gabritsch says:
I am currently working for hollister as a floor model. I remember walking in and talking to a manager to see if they were hiring and she asked for my name and number. I didn’t even fill out an application. The next day the hiring manager called me and asked if I would be interested in working for them. I said certainly because I love their clothes and store atmosphere. He set me an interview up for the next day. I went in to the store and told them I was there for an interview. I was referred, so they ended up just doing a one-on-one interview. We sat down in the lounge area. The lady was very nice and told me she was going to be asking me some questions. She asked me if I was currently working and I said no that actually I was a freshman in college and that I was going for business management. Then she asked me some questions about how I would describe myself, what diversity was and what it means for the work environment, and how would my family describe me. Also what I thought hollisters company’s clothes style was. At the end of the interview I asked her what her favorite part of working there was and she was kinda taken by it because it seemed as many didn’t ask them questions but she answered the question very professional and passionate you could tell that she loved working there. She was the assistant manager. We sat at talked for a minute and then she said that they would call me and let me know by Friday if I got the job and if they didn’t call then they probably weren’t interested at this time. I waited three days and ended up calling myself and asked for the person who called to set the interview up and they said they definitely want to hire me that they are just waiting for the application to go through and they would call me in Monday to fill out the paper work and such. I remember be so excited because I knew that I had killed the interview and but was worried that I maybe didn’t stand out enough or coulda answered a question a lil better but it is the best job I have had so far the environment is so laid back and fun. You feel like your in a family. If anyone would apply to work there just be yourself and laid-back they want someone who can represent themselves we’ll and carry themselves and the brand well. I love working for hollister and want to make it my career they have so many job opportunities and is a great place to work.
