The Payroll Administrator is responsible for all aspects of the preparation and processing of the company's bi-weekly payroll and other related tasks and analyses.   • Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of the bi-weekly payroll, including but not limited to:
    • Monitor and enforce compliance with timekeeping submission/approval deadlines for UltiPro Time Management system ( UTM ) users
    • Execute time and attendance processing and interfacing between UTM and the UltiPro payroll system
    • Import and reconcile hours for Kronos timekeeping users into UltiPro
    • Review and audit UTM and Kronos timesheet data to ensure accuracy of the payroll and compliance with company policy
    • Import special, non-recurring payments into UltiPro
    • Review and process new hires and terminations as well as changes in employee tax withholding, direct deposit, and deductions
    • Ensure compliance with and perform calculations for garnishments and levies
    • Balance and reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate associated reports
    • Assist with the preparation of payroll-related wire transfers
    • Assist with the production and validation of the reporting and journal entries provided to Accounting
    • Assist Accounting with payroll variance analysis explanations
    • Compile costing reports for certain third-party managed properties
  • Perform daily payroll department operations, including but limited to:
    • Administration of the Payroll department's email and voicemail
    • Accurate and timely resolution of all employee payroll-related inquiries
  • Preparation of monthly union pension calculation and associated invoice
  • Preparation of monthly UTM time-based billing reports for Accounting
  • Assist in identifying non-standard activity flowing through the Company's payroll bank account, including determination of the impacted pay period
  • Process payroll allocation changes in UltiPro as needed
  • Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits
  • Assist with processing accurate and timely quarterly and year-end reporting (tax returns, tax adjustments, W-2, W-2c, etc.)
  • Assist Risk Management team with information required for worker's compensation insurance and related annual audit
  • Assist with other tasks as assigned by manager


  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of payroll processing experience
  • FPC or CPP preferred
  • Experience with UltiPro cloud-based payroll system strongly preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong computer skills
  • Strong knowledge of current federal and state regulations regarding wage payment, taxes, and record keeping
  • Exposure to multi-state taxes and the tax set up of employee data
  • Experience with collective bargaining agreements and unions
  • Excellent customer service skills
