How to Get a Job at LaRosa's
The LaRosa's interview process typically involves a question and answer session with a general manager. Servers, cashiers, cooks, and even potential managers sit with general managers in a 1:1 setting to interview for available jobs. During interviews, applicants talk about specific aspects of the position desired, working at the pizza chain, and general topics covering personality traits and professional aspirations. The hiring process often concludes in less than a week's time.
Interview Advice
Hiring managers ask LaRosa's applicants about related job skills and availability during the interview process. Motivated attitudes and desire to work any shift from the early onset may land most applicants jobs with the restaurant. Regardless of outcome, express gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the hiring process at the end of each interview and then follow up to check on hiring status if the attending general manager makes no formal indication of employment.

Larosa’s Customer Service Representative Interview Video
Video Transcript
Interviewer: Please describe your job title and primary duties.
Larosa’s Customer Service Representative: When I worked at Larosa’s my job title was a guest service representative. We didn’t refer as customers as customers, they were guests. My job entailed me to answer the phone, take orders, or help fix orders.
Interviewer: What was the work environment like?
Larosa’s Customer Service Representative: The environment, I mean it’s a big office, it’s like in the office space you see lots of cubicles everywhere, they’re very small. You have a lot of people about my age, not really older people there. I mean it was a good environment, there was AC, you had a phone right in front of you and a computer, that’s about it so you just sat there non-stop and just did your job.
Interviewer: What was your favorite part about working there?
Larosa’s Customer Service Representative: My favorite part is that it was easy, I didn’t have to do any physical work, that’s it. Oh, and also you get discounts on the food, so if you’re hungry after work you can go pick up some food if you want.
Interviewer: How would you describe the application and interview process?
Larosa’s Customer Service Representative: The application process is completely online, you just go to Lasrosa’s website and they have careers, choose opportunities, and so forth. From there you just apply, they ask general information about yourself, why you want to work there, and then what you know about the company. Then the interview itself, they take you to the location, there’s I think two locations in Cincinnati, and they take you through the office, get you familiar with the place, and then actually take the interview with you, so it’s fairly simple, straight forward.
Interviewer: What questions did the interviewer ask during the job interview?
Larosa’s Customer Service Representative: They just asked basic questions about like my computer skills, they wanted to make sure that I know how to use a computer, because when you take orders you have to use a computer. They also test you on your speech ability, they try to make you talk about yourself a lot. Since you’re on the phone often you have to be able to talk somewhat. Then they reviewed some of the questions that you answered on the application online.
Interviewer: What set you apart from other candidates?
Larosa’s Customer Service Representative: I’ve took a lot of public speech classes in the past, and the other candidates I can tell that they were shyer, so it helps if you can pronounce the words, and get a thrill with what you’re talking about.
Interviewer: How were you notified that you received the job?
Larosa’s Customer Service Representative: From the application process it took a week to get a phone call from them midday. Then after the interview it took them about two weeks they sent me an email and a phone call to tell me that I got the job.
Interviewer: What other advice would you give to a job seeker looking to gain employment?
Larosa’s Customer Service Representative: Don’t over think it, it’s very simple, really you just sit there and answer calls. A lot of people get nervous about talking with people, you can be a little more comfortable but be formal with it, you don’t want to be too casual because then it sounds unprofessional.
