Interviewer: Please describe your job title and primary duties.
BRAND JOB: I was a crew member. I was able to prep the food, cook the food, cut the food, and serve the food.
Interviewer: What was the work environment like?
BRAND JOB: It was a fun atmosphere to be around, a lot of people. You enjoy the work.
Interviewer: Please describe a typical day as an employee.
BRAND JOB: After I would clock in, I’d tuck my shirt in and prep and wash my hands. Usually, I worked the counter. I’m more of a people person rather than … I don’t like to cook. I can cook, but I’d just rather be at the counter.
Interviewer: How would you describe the application and interview process?
BRAND JOB: After I applied it took a week or so to get a call to come in for an interview, because my friend recommended me for the job. After I got the interview and I passed the interview, I took a little test with the interview, too. Had to go to orientation and pass the orientation in order to come back and start my job.
Interviewer: What set you apart from other candidates?
BRAND JOB: I’m more outgoing. You really have to be a people’s person to work with people all day. You can’t have an attitude and talk to people.
Interviewer: How were you notified that you received the job?
BRAND JOB: She called me- No, she told me I basically had the job. I just had to go to orientation. After the interview, she told me. Then the orientation was the following week.
Interviewer: What other advice would you give to a job seeker looking to gain employment?
BRAND JOB: Actually, I would tell you to apply as fast as possible. If you know somebody, you should ask them to refer you to the position.
