OshKosh Team Member Interview Video
Video Transcript
Interviewer: Please describe your job title and primary duties.
OshKosh Team Member: Okay, I was a team member. My primary duties were folding clothes, assisting customers and working the cash register. Cleaning up after hours and stuff like that.
Interviewer: What was the work environment like?
OshKosh Team Member: The work environment was very friendly. It was in the Galleria, so it was friendly but also really rushed. There were a lot of people coming in and in. It was very speedy.
Interviewer: How would you describe the application and interview process?
OshKosh Team Member: The application was just a walk in. You could come in and fill it out. The interviewing process, I actually had it with my friend. It was 6 other people and we all went in and he asked us questions and things like that. We also had to go through the store and pick out and outfit. He’d say “I’m coming in and I’m expecting a child, what should I get” or something like that and we had to go pick out clothes. He asked us after we picked the clothes, “Why did we pick the outfit we got?”, and based off the answer we gave I’m guessing that’s how we got the job. They called back 3 of us out of that group and told us that we had the job that same day.
Interviewer: What questions did the interviewer ask during the job interview?
OshKosh Team Member: If a customer walks in and they are looking for a birthday gift. They were really scenarios, if I can remember. They were scenarios. “How are you with customer service?”, “Have you ever had any busy work days at your other jobs?”, and things like that.
Interviewer: What other advice would you give to a job seeker looking to gain employment?
OshKosh Team Member: You have to have OCD. You have to like folding clothes because you’re going to do that all day, every day. Folding clothes again, again, again. You have to like to clean and work.
