Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits Interview Questions & Tips

Company Overview

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen operates one of the most lucrative and recognizable fast food establishments in the industry. The company maintains more than 1,800 restaurants in the United States and 22 countries internationally. The fast food company maintains a staff consisting of various crew members, cooks, cashiers, and restaurant managers. As Popeyes continues to grow and open new locations, more employment opportunities may surface, as well. For hiring consideration, job hopefuls must successfully complete the interview process.

One-On-One Interviews

Most applicants face a one-on-one job interview after submitting all of the initial hiring materials. Attend the interview on time and dressed appropriately for the occasion. While not exactly a formal affair, the job interview reveals which candidates plan on treating the event professionally and dressing up. How effectively a potential hire communicates during the interview will also influence the hiring process. By using complete sentences, coherent thoughts, and proper body language, even the most inexperienced worker may have a chance at starting a job with Popeyes.

Possible Interview Topics

Applicants face many standard and unusual questions during the interview process. For example, expect several questions related to good customer service. Popeyes managers will place applicants into several real-life situations that require a resolution with good judgment. Interviewers also ask most applicants about personal strengths and weaknesses and work experience. Candidates should expect to talk about the desired position and whether the applicants feel comfortable performing all of the required duties.

Follow Up After the Interview

Applicants may be hired on the spot if their qualities and personalities win over the interviewer. However, depending on the position, Popeyes generally takes between one and five days to notify candidates of employment offers. Interviewees are encouraged to stay in contact following the session. If an applicant has not heard back in a few days, a simple phone call to asking about hiring status may be sufficient.
