How to Get a Job at Raley's
Many Raley's applicants encounter a multi-step interview process. Some candidates are required to take an online personality test after filling out hiring forms. Other job hopefuls interview over the phone with managers before meeting in-store for 1:1 or panel interviews. Applicants are often asked to participate in drug tests and criminal background checks as part of the hiring process. Obtaining an interview and other formalities of the hiring process could last between one and two weeks. Remain patient throughout and take the necessary steps to prepare for the interview as outlined in the next section.
Preparing for the Interview
Before the interview, review job history and be prepared to talk about applicable skills, especially those pertaining to customer service. Research and become familiar with Raley's work culture and other company information that might prove useful for conversation. Applicants should arrive at the meeting 10 to 15 minutes in professional attire and make their presence known to an employee. Arriving early to the interview will allow for acclimation to the environment and some time to mentally prepare.
Common Interview Questions
Possible interview questions may include:
- "Why do you want to work here?"
- "What qualifies you for the job?"
- "How would you deal with two or three customers approaching you at the same time?"
Following Up
At the end of the interview, thank the hiring representative for their time. Persistence is an important aspect of gaining employment at Raley's and following up a few days after the interview about the decision demonstrates earnestness and desire.
