Hey guys. i work at Red Robin and have been since July of 2011. 20 years old and a certified busser and host. Minimum age is 16 and if you are least 15 with a work permit, you are elligible to work there. You do have to be 21 to be a server/bartender because they do serve alcoholic beverages and such. so you’ll need a TAM card. I enjoy working with my team at Red Robin. the Team i work with is so fun and very supportive. like every other job, it has its ups and downs. but i would encourage anyone looking for a first time or open-entry job to work as a busser or even here.

I’m 16 and went to my local Red Robin to apply for a bussing job or host job. When I got there, I was informed that they no longer use paper applications and they want you to take it online. So when I got back, I began to apply online but there were 3 requirements you had to meet. One of them was the fact that you had to be 18. I don’t know when they changed it from 16 to 18 but my sister was able to work there when she was 16 a couple of years ago.

I worked for red robin in wasilla, alaska for two years ago when they first opened. Minimum age is 16. At that age you can be a busser or host. At 18 you can be a cook prep cook and dishwasher and expo. You must be 21 to be a server as they do serve alcohol and same goes for bartender. As far as i know they still do paper applications because alaska is not on the application section for choosing locations online. Knowing that we have had red robins since i was very little i don’t know why were not on there.
