Interviewer: Please describe your job title and primary duties.
Rite Aid Employee: I was a sales associate. I worked the cash register, stocking, helping customers, maintenance, cleaning, closing the store up, and counting drawers.
Interviewer: What was the work environment like?
Rite Aid Employee: Like a grocery store, fast-paced. Sometimes, you’ll have it mellow, and you watch for shoplifters. That’s about it.
Interviewer: What was your favorite par about working there?
Rite Aid Employee: I liked being on the cash register. I liked bagging groceries. The customers, too. I’m good with people.
Interviewer: Please describe a typical day as an employee.
Rite Aid Employee: Like a normal day, you go into work, make it the best you can, and put a smile on your face. It’s fast paced most of the time. Customers are always right.
Interviewer: How would you describe the application and interview process?
Rite Aid Employee: The application process is: you fill out an application, you turn it in. They call you for an interview, and pretty much right there they’ll decide if they want you or not. When they do, you do a lot of stuff on the computer, like testing and examples. It’s over an hour to do, but you get paid for it.
Interviewer: What questions did the interviewer ask during the job interview?
Rite Aid Employee: When the boss would interview me they would ask questions like what are my strong qualities, what are my downfalls. Those are kind of hard to say, but it’s all about being honest.
Interviewer: What other advice would you give to a job seeker looking to gain employment?
Rite Aid Employee: Just go in there and be honest.
