Interviewer: Please describe your job title and primary duties.

Target Cart Pusher: My job title was carts, so what I did was go out, grab carts, occasionally ran register, and took out the trash and stuff.

Interviewer: What was the work environment like?

Target Cart Pusher: Mostly friendly. Everyone was pretty nice. It was around Christmas season, so it was a little hectic, but not too bad. .

Interviewer: How would you describe the application and interview process?

Target Cart Pusher: They have a little kiosk in the store, or you can do it online, but it’s the same thing. You call them over, check out, and if they feel they want to call you back, they will set up an interview.

Interviewer: What questions did the interviewer ask during the job interview?

Target Cart Pusher: Customer relations, how you’ve dealt with that in the past, things you’ve done at prior jobs. It’s basically what you’ve done before, how you tried to improve your store when you worked there, and stuff like that.

Interviewer: What set you apart from other candidates?

Target Cart Pusher: I showed up in nice clothes to fill out the application and interview. I showed up on time for the interview and was friendly throughout the entire process.

Interviewer: What other advice would you give to a job seeker looking to gain employment?

Target Cart Pusher: I would say if you get an interview, show up in nice clothes, show up about five, 10 minutes early, have everything in order, have your stuff like driver’s license and social security card and identification. Make sure you’re going to go alright through the interview. Just look nice.
