Tomb Thumb Cashier: I was a cashier, go to the back, help out. Kind of all-around type of guy.
Interviewer: What was the work environment like?
Tomb Thumb Cashier: It was wonderful. Especially when it was down the street from my house. It was easy to get to, friendly environment, friendly employees, great management. It was just good for me.
Interviewer: What was your favorite part about working there?
Tomb Thumb Cashier: Seeing people I know. They’d come in, shop, “Hey. What’s up?” Every day, every time I’d go in, just happy to be there and work.
Interviewer: How would you describe the application and interview process?
Tomb Thumb Cashier: I got there. I sent in an application. They emailed me back and said, “Come in for an interview.” The interview process went well. They saw a light in me. I liked the job. We both clicked on the same page. I got the job.
Interviewer: What questions did the interviewer ask during the job interview?
Tomb Thumb Cashier: How flexible can I be? If I was to tell you to come at this certain time, will you be flexible to do so? What kind of skills do you have? Are you well managed with your time? Questions like around that.
Interviewer: How were you notified that you received the job?
Tomb Thumb Cashier: It took about maybe two or three weeks. I was interviewed at a heavy time, but they got back to me by phone call. They said I got the job and it was straight forward from there.
Interviewer: What other advice would you give to a job seeker looking to gain employment?
Tomb Thumb Cashier: If you find a job that you like and you want to proceed in or you want to make a little extra money, go ahead and go for it. There’s nothing wrong with making money or doing something that you enjoy doing.
