Video Transcript

Interviewer: Please describe your job title and primary duties.

Uber Eats Driver: My job title is I’m a delivery driver and my duty is to deliver food to people.

Interviewer: Please describe the application and interview process.

Uber Eats Driver: It was simple, really. A toddler can do it. All you had to do was… You needed your driver license and all that, your drivers credentials. Your… What do you call it? Your registrations and everything. Putting the month and year of your car, the make of it, and that’s it really. And they also do background checks too.

Interviewer: How were you notified that you received the job?

Uber Eats Driver: It doesn’t really take that long. It will take… because they work fast. They’ll take probably a day to get your account approved. Say there’s an issue or or so on your application, they’ll notify you to fix it. But as soon as you fix it, that’s as soon as you can get on and deliver with them.

Interviewer: What other advice would you give to a job seeker looking to gain employment?

Uber Eats Driver: I would say security wise, it’s not really that safe because it’s only you by yourself, depending on what days you work. Say you’re working at night times, there are areas where they take you where it’s not safe. So just be careful on that.
