Nelly says:
Can I work at Victoria’s Secret even if I didn’t get my HS diploma?
Karen Isabella says:
So I’m 18 years old and a college student who is looking for part-time employment that’s flexible. I turned in my job application two days ago and they gave me a call yesterday that my interview was today.
ALL interviews are GROUP interviews as in all of the LIMITED brand divisions, which they are part of.
May i warn any college student now: DO NOT APPLY IF YOU AREN’T WILLING TO WORK UNTIL 3AM on weekends and weekdays. The employer interviewing us warned us of this ahead of time.
Also, you aren’t guaranteed hours in Victoria Secret p/ wk, and they only hire PART TIME. If you are a college student, they work around the times that you don’t have classes, but have no consideration if you are scheduled to close.Even though the schedule may say 11:30pm is your “clock-out” time, you stay there till the manager permits you to leave which can be anywhere from around 12am-3am. This isn’t of any convenience to a college student!
The Interview employee was cocky and promoted customer service to the max! not sure of an answer to the question? mention customer service! it’s something they take seriously. Also, dress in black with little heel shoes or loafers. NO FLATS OR SANDALS!
the following questions were asked: what’s the first thing that catches your attention when walking into the store? Why do you want to work at Victoria Secret? and about two more simple questions about store ethics.
Overall, I wasted my time in preparing for the interview only for the employer to tell me that the job hours are based on performance(which may be a problem to some people) and there is no consideration for college students in closing time. be confident, as I was, and answer every question to your best knowledge! the questions are common sense and the employer interviewing has a handbook that she uses to guide her through the interview. Real professional(sarcasm).
This is a great company for students who don’t mind working past midnight and are simply willing to prioritize work over school. Otherwise, don’t bother applying.
The location I applied for was in Miami, Fl.
GOOD LUCK IN MAKING YOUR DECISION!

I use to work at VS when I was 22..im 29 now. Its great pay for sales leads and management positions. I was a co manager and all I got to say is..if you have a family with little ones..you will not spend much time with them. This job ,if management, will take up all your time..fast advancements and big turn overs because people get tired of it..like me..I didn’t get to see my baby much and was always on call day and night. Discount was awesome..but to..family was first..so I gave then 2 years and then left.
