Interviewer: Please describe your job title and primary duties.
Wendy’s Cook: My job title with Wendy’s was crew member, and my primary duties was cleaning up after the cooking, washing dishes, and simple stuff like that.
Interviewer: What was the work environment like?
Wendy’s Cook: It was friendly. Everyone was helpful. If you have questions to ask, they would answer them for you. So, it was a comfortable environment.
Interviewer: Please describe a typical day as an employee.
Wendy’s Cook: Well, depending on the day and how busy it was, I would usually be in the back, cleaning dishes and everything. But when it was a slow day, I would be out on the main room in front of everybody, sweeping, putting the chairs back in order. If there was something to clean up, I would clean it up. If a customer wanted something, I would help them with that.
Interviewer: How would you describe the application and interview process?
Wendy’s Cook: The application for Wendy’s – it was easy. They ask simple questions, usually on the application: name and information like that, personal information sometimes. The interview… the person that interviewed me made me real comfortable by asking me my name and introducing themself to me, making me feel real comfortable.
Interviewer: What questions did the interviewer ask during the job interview?
Wendy’s Cook: They asked me simple, usual stuff that you would get asked at an interview, like: “Have you ever worked for our company before?”, “Are you willing to work certain hours?”, “Are you in school?”, and questions like that.
Interviewer: What other advice would you give to a job seeker looking to gain employment?
Wendy’s Cook: Try and be professional and don’t get too comfortable too quick because you don’t have the job yet.
